WeeksLeft Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026

I value your privacy and am committed to protecting your personal information.

Thank you for using WeeksLeft. I, Alvin Askoolum ("I", "me", "my"), am committed to protecting your privacy.

This document outlines my privacy practices for WeeksLeft. I encourage you to read this document carefully.

If there are any conditions that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of the Services.

What WeeksLeft Stores

Everything you put into WeeksLeft stays on your device: date of birth, gender, country, custom trackers, app settings, and your whole journal — written entries, moods, emotions, tags, and any photos you attach.

iCloud Sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, this content syncs across your own devices through Apple's CloudKit, into your private iCloud database. That database belongs to your Apple Account. I cannot read, export, or recover it.

On-Device AI

Reflections are generated on your device using Apple's on-device model. The text of your entries is never sent to me or to any third party, and nothing you write is used to train any model.

Photos

Photos are chosen through the system photo picker, which runs outside the app. WeeksLeft never requests access to your photo library and can only see the specific images you select.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, they are scheduled locally. No notification content leaves your device.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. I never see or store your payment information.

I Collect Nothing

WeeksLeft contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. There is no account to create and no server to sign in to, because I operate none.

Third-Party Services

While I do not collect data myself, the App Store (Apple) and iCloud (Apple) may collect certain information in accordance with their own privacy policies, which I encourage you to review.

Data Security

Since I do not collect or store your data on my own servers, your information remains under your control — on your device and optionally in your iCloud account. I want you to be aware that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and your device's and iCloud's security measures have their own protocols that I cannot guarantee.

Contact Data

When contacting me (e.g. by email or via social media), the personal data requested by me or provided by you will be processed to handle your contact request and provide support. I delete inquiries, including the personal data associated with them, when they are no longer needed. I review this necessity every two years; statutory archiving obligations apply where applicable.
